Andrew F. Pierson

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew F. Pierson is Chief Executive Officer of Pierson Group Legal Nurse Consultants. Mr. Pierson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Summa Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire University in just over two years. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Delta Mu Delta national honor societies. Mr. Pierson also has a Master of Business Administration program at the University of Scranton where he ranked in the top 5% of his class. He holds a green belt certificate in Six Sigma methodology. Mr. Pierson is currently attending Northwestern University where he will complete his Master’s of Arts in Public Policy and Administration.

Mr. Pierson has an extensive background in marketing and the media that ranges over 15 years. He has a continual record of revenue generation and profit that has helped make many organizations attain record rates of return. Mr. Pierson has also worked with many Fortune 500 companies through targeted partnerships he has created. His background also includes conceptualizing, launching, and managing entire operations in the media and service industries. He brings a strong business and marketing background that will help guide Pierson Group to a market leader position.

Carissa J. Pierson

Chief Nursing Officer

Carissa J. Pierson serves as Pierson Group’s Chief Nursing Officer and has been with the company since its inception. She graduated cum laude with her degree in nursing and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Sigma Lambda honor societies. In addition to her nursing degree, she also has a business degree in international management from Southern New Hampshire University and a certificate in Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals from Cornell University. Ms. Pierson is currently attending Sacred Heart University in Connecticut to pursue her Master’s of Science in Patient Care Services Administration.

She brings 15 years of progressive nursing and leadership clinical experience that includes serving as Residential Case Manager, Travel Registered Nurse, and Charge Nurse. Ms. Pierson’s duties have included: knowledge of regulatory standards; assisting in adhering to these standards and ensuring staff compliance. Her clinical expertise includes: ICU, ER, PCU-neurology, pulmonary, cardiology, medical-surgical, orthopedics, spinal cord rehabilitation, geriatric, and renal care.

Ms. Pierson has practiced nursing and held licenses in: Missouri, North Carolina, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Louisiana, and Florida. She is a visionary leader who has also held non-medical positions including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President within a market dominant company. Ms. Pierson brings extensive leadership experience and enthusiasm for ensuring Pierson Group excels at providing quality and service to clients. In addition to her vast clinical experience, she also is a practicing Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
